Key job responsibilities
As an Transportation Operations Manager you will be working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely launches of new programs and capabilities, as well as deliver consistent, high quality operations outcomes for customers.

With strong Customer Obsession and a high sense of Ownership, you will utilize your skills to manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promise. You will collaborate with support teams including Safety and Loss Prevention, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Human Resources and Delivery Experience to develop plans to meet operational business objectives. You will partner closely with Fulfillment Operations, Network Operations Centre and Supply Chain, as well as external delivery partners to ensure smooth daily operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
•Own deployment of continuous improvement initiatives for network standards
•Monitor and manage operations of assigned sites to deliver to execution goals and drive improvement
•Serve as a liaison between the internal and external stakeholders keeping in mind the objectives, limits, conformance and information privacy
•Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures, weather and volume peaks



A day in the life
* Review daily performance reports and work with sites and delivery partners to bridge performance gaps and implementing corrective actions
* Manage emerging issues that may risk delivery operations, putting in place mitigations to protect customer promise and delivery experience
* Prepare and contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews
* Respond to customer and stakeholder escalations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
