Our General Counsel’s Office (GCO) supports EY’s business by serving as trusted advisors to the EY community and providing the highest quality legal services to EY’s service lines and business enablement functions. The opportunity: As a Senior Counsel for Products & Platforms on the GCO Technology and Managed Services team, you will be responsible for providing advice, counsel, and legal support in respect of the provision of technology products and platforms to EY clients, with a particular focus on advising, drafting, updating and negotiating the legal terms and conditions of client-facing software licenses and software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) agreements, artificial intelligence, big data, analytics, cloud computing, as well as providing internal legal advice and support to various other EY technology and product teams from ideation, innovation, and go-to-market. You will be a part of EY’s Technology and Managed Services legal group, work closely with other GCO groups in the United States and other jurisdictions. The work is complex, often urgent, and high in volume and requires experience advising in a supplier-side technology transactional legal role. The role requires a background in SaaS, current market knowledge related to current and new technologies, and a superior ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a compressed timeframe and to escalate and interact on a regular basis with senior members of the organization. Your Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Draft and negotiate client-facing product and platform agreements, including advising on contractual strategy and risk, and keeping up to date with relevant legal developments</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Collaborate closely with other members of the US GCO as well as local counsel in other EY member firms</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Collaborate closely with intellectual property counsel and procurement counsel on the development and commercialization of various products and platforms</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Support coordination with cross-functional business and internal support teams (Data Privacy, Information Security, Independence, Quality and Tax) as necessary</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Understanding existing EY policies and help enhance policies and guidance relevant to technology products and platforms</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica,
