We are currently seeking a dedicated Physician Medical Disability Examiner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will evaluate and conduct exams for medical disability claims for veterans, requiring on-site travel within an assigned region. When not traveling, you'll work remotely to complete ACE and internal Medical Opinion requests as required.

This position operates Monday through Friday, with an exciting mix of travel and remote work - expect to spend 50% of your time on the road and 50% working from home. You can reside anywhere in the U.S., providing you with the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. Please note that employees in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area must work in the office a minimum of four days a week.

Required Qualifications :

  • Licensed MD or DO
  • Current and unrestricted state license
  • Accredited Board Certification / Board Eligible (BC / BE)
  • 1+ years of experience with VA Compensation and Pension disability evaluations and knowledge of VA quality and timeliness measures
  • Ability to obtain licensure based on business needs, including compact license compliance
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and robust organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more each month
  • Capability to work remotely when not traveling to complete required exams

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certified VA Compensation and Pension Examiner
  • National Career Readiness Certificate
  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Military and / or veteran healthcare experience

    The compensation for this role typically ranges from $229,500 to $378,000, depending on various factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience.
