PACE Supply has an exciting career opportunity available at our Fresno, CA location. We are seeking a motivated warehouse person to strive for excellence and help us maintain our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. As a warehouse person at PACE Supply, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as performing general warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory.<br><br>The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift heavy packages, operate forklifts, and use hand-held scanners. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will interact with customers, suppliers, and team members on a daily basis.<br><br>Schedule will be Monday- Friday, 800am 430pm. Must be available for overtime.<br><br><ul><li>Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.</li><li>Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.</li><li>Prepare materials for delivery or pick-up by customers, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.</li><li>Verify the accuracy and timeliness of filled orders before delivery or pick-up.</li><li>Complete bills of lading for materials being delivered to customers.</li><li>Maintain organized files for customer pick-up orders, noting relevant information on invoices.</li><li>Serve "Express Will Call Customers" promptly to expedite order processing.</li><li>Assist with counter sales by entering orders into the system and pulling/loading orders.</li><li>Foster a positive work atmosphere by cooperating and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.<br><br><br></li></ul>Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.<br><br><ul><li>High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. </li><li>Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.</li><li>Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.</li><li>Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.</li><li>Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.</li><li>Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications.</li><li>Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.</li><li>Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills</li><li>Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
