The System and Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure across multiple client environments. This role involves providing technical expertise in system and network administration to ensure seamless operation and security of both on-premises and cloud-based systems.<br><br>The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and a variety of firewall technologies, as well as a deep understanding of virtualization platforms, such as VMWare. Experience working with remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems is also required.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Network and System Administration:</li><ul><li>Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies from vendors such as Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto</li><li>Manage and maintain server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, using Windows Server (2008-2022) and virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V</li><li>Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user management, group policies, and cloud-based services</li><li>Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet to ensure secure remote access and data protection</li></ul><li>Security and Compliance:</li><ul><li>Monitor, configure, and manage security protocols, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions</li><li>Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management to ensure compliance with security best practices</li><li>Work with clients to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans</li></ul><li>Support and Troubleshooting:</li><ul><li>Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues</li><li>Use remote management tools to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations</li><li>Troubleshoot problems across various client environments, ranging from simple desktop issues to complex network problems</li></ul><li>Virtualization and Cloud Services:</li><ul><li>Administer VMWare environments, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers</li><li>Provide expertise in cloud services, particularly Azure, to support client needs for scalable and resilient infrastructure</li></ul><li>Collaboration and Ticket Management:</li><ul><li>Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide effective IT solutions and support</li><li>Utilize ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow to track, manage, and resolve support requests in an organized and timely manner</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of all configurations, troubleshooting efforts, and solutions in the ticketing system</li></ul><li>Monitoring and Reporting:</li><ul><li>Proactively monitor network and system performance, using monitoring tools to detect and resolve potential issues before they impact client operations</li><li>Provide regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents to management and clients<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator, with a proven track record of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and data center technologies</li><li>5+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, providing frontline support and resolving issues via ticketing systems</li><li>Certification in relevant areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP)</li></ul>
