Location: Remote (Nationwide, U.S.)
Schedule: Flexible - Part-time or Full-time (compatible with existing practice commitments)
Compensation: $95-$700 per e-visit (based on service complexity)
Patient Volume: Minimum 200 patients/month provided

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and tech-savvy dentists to join our growing remote team. As a Teledentistry Dentist, you will provide routine, preventive, pre- and post-procedural dental care, collaborate with interprofessional practitioners, and support patients through our secure digital platform. This role is ideal for dental professionals seeking flexibility, supplemental income, and the opportunity to shape the future of dental care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Virtual Examinations:
    • Perform initial assessments, screenings, and triage using secure video consultations and digital records.
    • Diagnose dental conditions and determine the need for in-person care or remote management.
  • Deliver Preventive and Routine Dental Care:
    • Provide oral health education, dietary counseling, and preventive strategies.
    • Guide patients on oral hygiene practices and recommend preventive products.
  • Manage Pre- and Post-Operative Care:
    • Offer pre-procedural consultations and post-procedural follow-ups for surgical and non-surgical dental treatments.
    • Monitor healing, address complications, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Emergency Dental Consultations:
    • Assess and triage dental emergencies, provide pain management advice, and determine urgency for in-person intervention.
  • Treatment Planning and Case Management:
    • Develop, review, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on virtual assessments.
    • Coordinate care with in-person providers when necessary.
  • Remote Monitoring and Ongoing Management:
    • Track patient progress, compliance, and outcomes through regular virtual check-ins.
    • Utilize digital tools for monitoring and documentation.
  • Patient Education and Counseling:
    • Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
    • Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and clarity.
  • Interprofessional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with dental hygienists (RDH), dental assistants (RDA), and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Participate in case discussions and referrals with specialists as needed.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA.
    • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and OIG standards.

Services Provided via Teledentistry:
  • Virtual dental examinations and screenings.
  • Preventive care consultations (oral hygiene, fluoride, sealants).
  • Diagnosis and management of common dental conditions (caries, periodontal disease, oral lesions).
  • Pre- and post-operative care for dental procedures.
  • Emergency dental triage and pain management.
  • Remote monitoring of orthodontic and restorative cases.
  • Patient education and counseling.
  • Prescription of medications as appropriate (within state regulations).
  • Interprofessional case collaboration and referrals.
  • Review and interpretation of digital radiographs and intraoral images (where permitted).
  • Follow-up care and ongoing management of chronic dental conditions.

Note: All services are provided in accordance with state licensure laws and telehealth regulations.

Qualifications:
