Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate comments on YouTube videos during critical upload windows (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 AM Central)
  • Proactively review and moderate content across Reddit and Discord communities following established guidelines
  • Quickly identify and remove inappropriate comments, spam, bot activity, and negative content that violates community standards
  • Provide immediate moderation coverage during new content launches to ensure clean, welcoming comment sections
  • Follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent moderation quality across all platforms
  • Collaborate effectively with team members via Slack and other communication tools
  • Maintain reliable coverage as part of a 24/7 moderation team with no service gaps
  • Cross-train to provide app support assistance during lower-volume moderation periods

Skills

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate YouTube Studio comment sections and platform-specific moderation tools
