They are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant specializing in Elasticsearch to deliver solutions, build customer relationships, and create proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the value of the Elastic Stack.


Responsibilities

  • Your journey with us will be defined by delivering Elastic solutions and applying your expertise in the Elastic Stack to drive real, tangible value for our clients. You won't just be another cog in the machine; your contributions will be pivotal in conducting workshops that map out strategies, design roadmaps, and plan capacities in environments critical to our customers' success.
  • Building lasting relationships with our customers is at the heart of what we do. You'll champion their needs, advocate for them, and ensure their voices are heard loud and clear. And all of this will happen in a remote, highly distributed team setup where your individuality and unique background will be celebrated.
  • As a Consulting Architect, Search you'll be entrusted with the task of creating captivating proof-of-concepts that highlight the value proposition of the Elastic Stack and its solutions. Your expertise will be the driving force behind accelerating the adoption of Elastic solutions, optimizing queries, fine-tuning clusters, and delivering lightning-fast search and analytics at scale.
  • In this role, collaboration isn't just a buzzword; it's our way of life. You'll work closely with our engineering, product management, and support teams, ensuring that your insights and feedback from the field shape our products and services. Together, we'll assess technical aspects, identify risks, and seize opportunities to tailor engagements effectively alongside our sales team.

Skills

  • Must have hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.
  • Validated experience as a Search Engineer or Search Architect, with a solid grasp of Elasticsearch, Vector Search, and GenAI technologies.
  • Deep understanding of E-Commerce search solutions, query development, relevancy tuning, and implementing Natural Language Processing (NLP) use cases.
  • A background in open-source machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, backed by a degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A genuine passion for open-source technology and proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Strong knowledge of large distributed systems and application infrastructure.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for business needs.
  • Big 4 consulting.
  • Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
  • Proficiency in Ansible, JavaScript, Terraform, ECK, or Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Deep understanding of Java and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Contributing to open-source projects or documentation.
