As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our crewmember experience initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services. As a Manager IT CEX Crewmember Product, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of crewmembers focused on solution delivery and/or functional support. Key Responsibilities Own the relationship with our business' functional area leaders and are responsible for the delivery of IT solutions to support the business operations. Develop and deliver an IT strategy and a yearly plan to support the business capabilities aligned to the area of responsibility, including a solution and/or application roadmap. Manage a "portfolio" of applications/solutions from conception to retirement. Create, maintain, and report on a financial and resource plan for their area of responsibility. Act as the escalation point for functional support to assigned portfolio applications with continuous availability. Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing organization to negotiate Crewmember agreements and service level agreements that align with business units' requirements and expectations. Oversee production and non-production environments through delivery and change management processes. Ensure work practices are in compliance with all audits, security, and regulatory requirements, and company policies. Cooperate with other IT Leaders to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies and continued ownership for product and services delivery within assigned business units and across IT. Provide direct or indirect oversight of delivery teams for appropriate portfolio initiatives. Play a significant role in driving and coaching direct reports as well as indirect Crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, and development of a succession plan for the IT organization. Essential Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED). Quality thinking skill , analytical thinking, and organizational abilities with the capacity to effectively perform multiple tasks. Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to various groups. Strong collaboration skills. Self-motivated and the ability to work with little supervision. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge of Project Management (PMBOK) and strategic planning. Familiarity with technology essentials and concepts. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio). Available for moderate short-term travel (up to 20%). Legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Experience managing a budget and developing business cases. Experience managing a full project or initiative, including presenting proposals to senior leadership. In-depth knowledge of business capability and comprehensive knowledge of business operations, goals, and strategies. Exposure to JetBlue's IT disciplines and interdependencies and business units and how their requirements drive IT strategy.
