Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Reno, Nevada. This role is crucial for the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems within our advanced manufacturing facilities and product lines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering principles, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment, energy storage solutions, or vehicle platforms. • Perform detailed electrical analysis, simulations, and calculations to ensure performance, reliability, and safety standards are met. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to integrate electrical designs. • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and other technical documentation. • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in production environments and develop effective solutions. • Participate in the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to production and continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, CE). Required Skills • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical system design or development. • Proficiency with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, AutoCAD Electrical). • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power electronics, and control systems. • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and sensor integration. • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical problems. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. • Experience in the automotive, renewable energy, or high-volume manufacturing industries. • Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508). • Experience with high-voltage systems and battery management systems. • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, or MATLAB for test automation or data analysis.
