Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead their Cisco Learning Credits (CLC) initiatives. This is a strategic, client-facing role with full ownership of the sales lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to deal closure and post-sale follow-up. The BDM will play a critical part in engaging new and existing clients, activating dormant CLCs, and driving revenue by delivering high-impact, value-led training solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Sales Lifecycle Ownership
    Lead the end-to-end sales process including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, solution development, commercial negotiation, and deal closure for all CLC-related opportunities.

  • Client Engagement & Prospecting
    Identify, engage, and convert new business prospects and existing clients with unused or expiring Cisco Learning Credits. Build strong relationships with L&D, IT, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

  • Cisco Team Collaboration
    Work closely with Cisco team captains and Partner Account Managers to align training plans with business initiatives. Leverage Cisco GTM campaigns and partnerships to drive interest.

  • CLC Strategy & Execution
    Educate clients on Cisco Learning Credits structure, expiration timelines, and value extraction. Ensure Global Knowledge is a listed and preferred Cisco Learning Partner for all target accounts.

  • Sales Enablement & Solution Design
    Collaborate with internal sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft tailored training proposals and value-led programs. Support proposal development, pricing, and certification planning.

  • Reporting & Forecasting
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce. Provide regular visibility into pipeline health, trends in CLC utilization, and revenue projections.



Requirements


  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partner/channel management, ideally within the IT training or technology sector

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles from discovery to close

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline reporting

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
