Job Description

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Front Desk Clerk for a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by assisting with guest needs, booking reservations, act as a point of reference for guests who need information and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. 
Responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the guest services operation.  Organization and good time management skills are a must.

  • Comprehensive benefit packages are offered.
  • Transportation is provided out of Edmonton, AB to site.  
  • Rotation are 20 days on/10 days off.

Job Responsibilities

•    Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on having Safety as a value
•    Greet all incoming clients and employees courteously and professionally upon guest arrival
•    Check In all arrivals by distribution and collection of all necessary paperwork for guest registration and room assignment
•    Enter all registration information and data entry into the Innfinnity database and other computer programs to check in/out employees and clients
•    Perform all required filling and data entry required by Management
•    Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, pleasant manner. Receive, check, ad re-direct all incoming and outgoing electronic mail
•    Prepare correspondence for pick up
•    Provide assistance to CM with the preparation of all documents (signage, staff changes, and correspondence) and reports as required
•    Open and close office on scheduled basis. Provide exceptional service to all clients and employees
•    Shall attend all safety meetings and participate in Client and/or Aramark Emergency Response Procedures
•    Additional duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • 1+ years Administrative experience preferably in remote camp or hotel/hospitality industries
  • Valid WHMIS Certification is mandatory, Food Safe Basic and First Aid Certifications are an asset
  • Additional certification may be required by work location
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of computers, Microsoft software, INNfinity, and/or POS programs is mandatory
  • Strong with prioritization and time managemen
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
