Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibility and accountability for executing advisor training, support and relationship building in order for Bestmed to be positioned as the Scheme of choice for the Intermediary and their clients. To implement effective strategies that will position the Advisor Sales Channel as the delivery structure of Bestmed activities with particular emphasis on the achievement of growing Bestmed’s membership.  

 

  • Recruit new members for Bestmed via advisors/brokerages
  • To ensure a healthy risk pool is attracted to the scheme
  • Business obtained from new brokerages and/or new advisors from existing brokerages
  • Acquisition of new corporate groups >30 employees
  • Annual broker survey
  • Reporting
  •  Accreditation of brokers 
  • Retention

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualification 

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (Mathematics on a symbol E or higher. Maths Literacy on a symbol C or higher)
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Management or Customer Relations

 

Experience 

  • Minimum 4 years in sales/customer relationship management within the Financial Services Industry

 

Additional inherent requirements

  • Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
