We are seeking a skilled Apigee Developer to design, develop, and manage API solutions using Google Cloud’s Apigee platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API proxy development, security policy implementation, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure API integrations that support business objectives. Job Responsibilities: Apigee Edge Services: Provide software design and development services for Apigee Edge. Provide software engineering support and maintenance services for Apigee Edge cloud platform. Design and develop patches, bug fixes, or features as needed for runtime. Triage, prioritize, and fix bugs, customer issues, and feature requests. Periodically refresh the components, including third-party components and libraries used in the platform. Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of data components such as Cassandra, Zookeeper, Consul, and PostgreSQL. Plan and execute periodic upgrades and updates of data components to maintain platform freshness. Provide engineering L2 support for data components of Edge. Troubleshoot services (performed in conjunction with the Google Global Support Center team) to identify and fix Edge cloud customer issues. Respond to product-related queries from internal Google teams. Work toward reducing technical debt. Manage and perform cloud product releases. Upgrade and update components of the platform according to the release cadence. Work with the release and provisioning team to deploy updates to the cloud. Manage development, support, and operations for Monetization. Perform knowledge transfer and basic upgrades for auxiliary components such as Edge Microgateway and Extensions. Apigee OPDK Services: Provide software engineering support and maintenance services for Apigee Edge OPDK. Troubleshooting Services (performed in conjunction with the Google Global Support Center team) to identify and fix Edge OPDK customer issues. Provide answers to product-related questions. Triage, prioritize and fix bugs/customers issues/feature requests. Design and develop patches, bug fixes or features as needed. Work towards reducing technical debt. Build required tools and services. Provide DB tuning support for PG SQL. Manage and perform OPDK product releases. Development, support and ops for the Monetization platform Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Strong experience with Apigee Edge and API Gateway management. Proficiency in RESTful API design, Node.js, and JavaScript. Knowledge of API security protocols and access control mechanisms. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven. Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Amenable to daily in-office set up in BGC, Taguig Preferred Qualifications: Apigee certification or Google Cloud API Management specialization. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
